There was fierce fighting in Ajdabia when local LNA forces which comprise fighters loyal to federalist leader, Ibrahim Jedhran, attacked the Ajdabia Revolutionaries Shura Council, but a truce has now been signed.

The HoR announced this week that it wants to summon Haftar to question him about the lack of progress in Benghazi. There has been more fighting around Sirte this week as Brigade 166 continues its efforts to dislodge IS from the town.

Hafter finally made some progress in Benghazi this week, taking almost full control of the notorious Al-Sabri neighbourhood. Fierce fighting also has continued around Sirte prompting Misrata’s Brigade 166 on 4 April to declare a curfew on the town.
