Fierce fighting continued in Tripoli as Misratan and allied Islamist brigades operating under the umbrella of Libya Dawn engaged brigades from Zintan. The head of the Justice and Construction Party (JCP), Mohamed Sawan, appeared to sanction the fighting taking place in Tripoli.
