On 10 July, the Libyan National Army’s (LNA) Criminal Investigations Department in Brega arrested an individual suspected of being an ISIS fighter. During the arrest, the suspect was discovered to possess a suicide belt.
On 10 July, in the earlier hours of the morning, a large contingent of Special Deterrence Forces (Rada) fighters with at least 16 vehicles, raided the house of a suspected ISIS member in Tripoli. A large number of arms and ammunition were also seized. However, on 11 July Rada said that the assailant was not linked with ISIS and that both he and his pregnant wife were killed in the raid.
